James Meusch, son of Kurt and Laura Meusch of Stuart recently was awarded the FFA Grand Champion honors for his oxyacetylene gas welding display board at the 2008 Nebraska State Fair. Meusch, a senior member received this award in the Agricultural Mechanics division. Jake Paxton received a blue ribbon for his oxyacetylene gas welding display and a red ribbon on his shielded metal arc welding board.

 

Six sophomore FFA members created range boards and exhibited them at the Nebraska State Fair. The following are the range board results: Ben Kaup—purple ribbon, Taylor Kunz –blue ribbon, Brianna Miller—blue ribbon, Trever Thompson—blue ribbon, Paul Johnson —red ribbon, and Kassidy Paxton—red ribbon.
