The Greeley-Wolbach FFA chapter is having a very productive year this year. In June our horse judging teams participated at the Pitzer’s Horse Judging Contest and the State Horse Judging Contest.

 

At the Pitzer Horse Judging Contest our team placed third and the following individuals placed fifth, Kim Wood; sixth, Lindsay Lammers; and tenth, Kara Donavan.

 

Our teams placed first, with team members Lindsay Lammers, Kaitlyn Wood, Ashlynn Wood, and Kara Donavan, and third, with team members, Kim Wood, Makenzie Cockerill, Mitchell Cockerill, and Ryne Donavan. At the State Horse Judging Contest, individuals receiving first were Lindsay Lammers and third, Kim Wood.

 

At the start of the school year our FFA chapter has been working hard and studying for range judging contests. We have participated in two range judging contests; one in Elm Creek and the other in Battle Creek. At the Elm Creek competition our teams placed second and third.

 

Second-place team members were Annie Glenn, Skyler Erickson, Makenzie Cockerill, and Andrew O’Conner, and third place team members were Kim Wood, Ashley Dugan, Bryan O’Conner, and Jesse Lammers, with individuals placing well also. Our chapter participated in the State Range Contest  Oct. 3rd in Burwell.
